Opening Prayer

God of Infinite Love, I come to you filled with the desire to encounter You during this time of prayer.  I want to grow in my love for you and my neighbor.  I place my busy life before you with all my concerns and worries.  Please still my heart and mind so that my thoughts can be centered on You.  I offer this time of prayer for the coming of Your Kingdom within me and all of humanity.  I pray in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I come with Mary, Queen of Apostles and with St. Vincent Pallotti, now and forever.  Amen.

Questions for your reflection this week:
These are suggested questions for you to ask yourself. Feel free to reflect on the one or ones to which you might feel drawn. If you wish to create your own reflection theme, feel free to do so.
1.   Am I able to life someone else’s drooping spirits to make them lighter and give them hope?
2.   Can I be more aware of the burdens someone is carrying on their shoulders and can I help them to alleviate their load?
A Suggestion:
Each evening take time to reflect on your day.  Ask for the grace to see how needy you are of God’s grace and how blessed you have been this day.
